I was working with Brian this week walking him through the process. He has just started to do these checks himself and we are working through the intricacies. Brian actually came to the decision to not move forward with Adedolapo K. Enifeni Davis due to her only displaying six months of experience and being told she does not have experience working privately . Ultimately, we do not want caregivers without two years of professional experience and some of that experience may be private. Brian inquired about Adedolapo regarding private employment and was told she did not have experience working privately, so he appropriately determined we should not move forward because she only has 6 months of verifiable experience. I usually look at the caregiver's resume at this point, but neither had a resume posted in ICMS. I also ask Michelle, one of Chicago's CGMs, about the caregiver as she does their second interview. The second candidate,Irene, I told him to move forward with, he did not have information regarding her private experience and quite honestly I try not to reject too many candidates as it upsets Brandy. But, if it could be reinforced that we only want caregivers with two years of verifiable experience it would be helpful. This qualifier does not seem to be used in determining if the caregiver should be made an offer which will put us in the position of rejecting after the fact. Brian will continue to ask me questions when he is on the fence. And, determination will be made based on the information we have.
