RE: HCA Canadian entities Change in year end

It is great to connect with you again.  From HCA’s perspective, it (and its subsidiaries) can choose any year end in the first year after control was acquired. No permission or notification is required to be provided to CRA.  It was always assumed that HCA would move to a December year end.  This is also why certain entities were amalgamated on January 1 (in order to not create multiple year ends).
