It's in downtown and is pretty central. Another option would be the Westin Bayshore or the Fairmont Hotel. Not sure what your budget is, but if you are looking to splurge at the best hotels in the area it would be: Fairmont Pacific Rim, Rosewood Hotel Georgia and Shangri-la Hotel.
