CARING WITH LOVE OUT WEST!



The Satisfaction Win Back Campaign is pleased to spotlight our shining
stars in Palm Desert, California for their expertise in using the Balanced
Care Method to care for a client with advanced Parkinson’s disease.

On Day 23, kudos go to Regional Client Success Manager Jessica Pascasio for
sharing today’s story about Steven Masler, an 81 year old male with a
lifetime value of $227,350, with TheKey for almost 2 years. His Client
Success Manager Janetta Rhoades partners with a dedicated team to care for
him, including Staffing Manager Michael Loveless and Caregivers Clara
Hernandez and Susan Dunnington.

Steven’s wife and main caretaker, Joy, contacted TheKey at her wit’s end as
a cry for help. She had been caring for her husband around the clock,
isolated from other family members, and long past burned out. Also in her
70s, Joy’s physical and mental health were now declining without proper
rest as she was constantly on the go taking care of Steven’s many needs.
With rapidly advancing Parkinson’s disease, he required a care team with
patience and a passion for person-centered care.

Steven and Joy quickly came to rely on two wonderful Caregivers: Clara and
Susan. They follow a care plan that embraces his Parkinson’s journey,
mindful of Joy’s guidance on how they have been doing things previously.
They all take one day at a time, and find moments to smile, laugh, and
share special moments together. Joy said that Clara and Susan are “angels
on earth.”

Steven can stand with assistance and uses a walker when outside of the
home. On some days, Clara or Susan take him for walks in the warmth of
the desert
sun, a favorite outing. On other days, he prefers to stay inside and just
rest. With care focused on Steven, Clara and Susan also built a
relationship with Joy that is very special. They said, “We are Caregivers
for the entire household. The Balanced Care Method benefits the entire
home.” Thanks to their outstanding efforts, Joy has a new horizon, and has
shared that she is finally able to breathe and pursue activities that bring
her happiness.

TheKey is delighted to sing the praises of Jessica, Janetta, Michael, and
the entire care team in Palm Desert, California for their expertise in
managing Steven’s care. That’s the Care with Love approach!

THE NUMBERS – DAY 23 OF THE CAMPAIGN! 17 DAYS TO GO!

Regional teams have now scheduled 3408 of 3641 client visits, and 102% have
been completed. Of these, 93% report they are happy with TheKey’s services,
and 7% identified an issue of concern, which teams are diligently working
to rectify using the “fast track issue escalation” model.

With 102% of visits now scheduled, the campaign is well-ahead of goal.
Congratulations are also extended to the DC Metro and Pennsylvania teams,
the first two regions to reach their 100% goal. We are so proud of the DC
Metro, Pennsylvania and ALL Client Success teams!!
