There are 115 suites in Amber Meadows. They are currently having WRHA (Winnipeg Regional Health Authority) subcontracted agencies cater to the needs of those who are eligible for Government care services. Any "private" or additional care is outsourced to the agency who will be renting the space. Brenda was not able to give me an indication on how many "private" hours that could be outsourced in a week/month. This needs to be evaluated in our next meeting. I asked if the sister property in Winnipeg, The Westhaven, would be interested in the discussion with the HCA/TheKey and the answer was yes. We need to assess whether the leasing is the best option to further partnership with few one-to-one companionship and some resident programming.
