You mentioned transferring a current employee or rehiring a previous employee as a contractor. Was the intention to pay the person via the Finance AP Invoice process, or, through an actual employee timesheet? The definition of a 1099 contingent worker is someone who is not considered an employee, but rather an independent contractor and is not eligible for company benefits or paid time off. You mentioned an employee, Shyanne Hansen, or a former employee may come back, Jessica Growen may fill the role. - If Shyanne will be filling the role, it will be considered an "internal transfer" and you can change Shyanne's job title and compensat= ion (if needed) so it reflects properly in Workday. When Shyanne transitions back to Staffing Manager, the same process would be followed to ensure w= e have the correct information reflected in Workday. - If Jessica Growen is selected, and is a 1099 contractor (paid by submitted invoices), we can provide the contractor documents to have Jessica complete. If Jessica is selected as a paid employee, she will ne= ed to go through the full background check process and agreement process (likely with some edits for the temporary period described in this threa= d. Based on your payment and work set-up intention, I've looped in Shameema to help ensure you get the correct documents required and then we can get the person selected in the process in Workday to ensure system access, etc. On Wed, Dec 7, 2022 at 8:23 AM Julie Fletcher wrote: > I=E2=80=99ll have Tami or Jenn or Toni contact you to see how we can expe= dite to > get this contractor in?
