A former caregiver has proposed financial support for the NCA exams. Please
take a look at the email below. It is a good idea to help with the exams
and also for the registration fee and get reimbursed, we can work on a year
or so commitment upon getting the registration, this way we do not lose the
caregiver upon getting the registration number.

I was wondering if Home Care Assistance can introduce a program where by
the company will assisting caregivers to pay for their NCAS Exams fee then
be deducting from their pay biweekly till they are done paying the company
back. This will help many internationally trained nurses who are working as
caregivers to get registered as HCA in the BC registry since soon you will
be hiring only Registered Home Care Aides .
