We can not just process the employee under a new payroll entity without following steps. For example, the employee would need to be termed from the current entity and moved to the other. This would trigger a T4 if I'm not mistaken and the employee year to date wages and taxes would need to be moved to the new entity. This type of change should only be made at the beginning of a quarter. If we would like the change to occur we can make the change effective for 07/1/2024.
