Hi Michelle,
Just wanted to check in on this situation. Did you want me to present the findings from Celine to the client? No one is disputing the coats "existence" however she could have bought it at a consignment shop for a fraction of the price. Additionally, they are claiming $20,000 USD which is highly unlikely seeing as Celine does not have any coats in their collection for more than $6000 USD.
If you would like me to discuss this with the client let me know.

I am not sure a receipt is practical as she purchased it from Celine in Bergdorfs, New York City in about 2017. The coat is a blue shearling. It has the celine label on it. The store isnt really motivated to dig through old receipts. Lack of receipt doesnt negate the coats quality or existence. It's just an artificial hoop levied by whomever was requesting it. We would have rather it wasnt laundered as it was a fine coat which is now ruined. The coat should be replaced with a similar item.
