Are there any existing initiatives or work that has taken place with Key Partner/Influences, like Alzheimer=E2=80=99s Canada at the National level o= r others i.e. Insurance Companies...etc...to promote Home Care Assistance in Canada? I realize there are local chapters that we can all call on within our own areas, but having support from the National body would be a great support to get in at a local level. 2. Has anyone taken the time to learn more about the current tax exemptions from Revenue Canada for family care givers? Maybe there is a way we can help the Adult Children of our Clients get some money back for using our services. This could lead to new and/or the increasing hours of existing business. This could help with the Price objection that comes up at times. 3. Can we get an update on what the Franchisee Advisory Board is doing? 4. Can we improve Collaboration amougst the Canadian HCA Franchises? I would love to see more colaboration amongst the group of Canadian/Provincial Franchisees. I don=E2=80=99t see anyone using Slack in Canada. I posted something and it was great that Timothy Thomas responded. I never see any Canadians using Slack. I know that everyone is busy building their businesses. You only have 1 site in all of Canada (Tim Thomas) that does site visits/shadowing, whatever you want to call it. I know that everyone helping everyone, sharing information that has contributed to success will minimize the overall time someone would need to take to investigate, trial and initiatiate that have already been undertaken and perfected. I feel we could all improve in the area of Collaboration.
