Hi Tim,
Thanks for sharing Shadi’s comments .
We met with our design agency yesterday . A new format is being developed this week.
Steven is in Montreal doing installs/ set ups of new Lifeguard accounts .
Could we chat with you and / Steve / Nina on the proper wording – disclosure of the falls?
Agreed on the fridge / sleep disclaimers – will adjust.
As for the detailed data – we can scale this back –
Lots to discuss .
How does 11:30 meet up and lunch look for you Friday ?
Have a great day .
Nat

Great! I'm happy this is launching.
This is comprehensive data. My only comments would be:
1. adding a disclaimer similar to the one about the fridge (i.e., fridge was opened 9 times, it doesn't mean the person was eating or drinking but is often a good indication of nutrition...) for sleep too unless there is a sensor actually tracking their sleep (do we know she was actually asleep for 8 hrs 45 nin or just quiet and in bed)
2. it would be a good idea to run this all by Steve or Nina from a liability perspective to know if any of hte wording around falls/.risk needs to change
3. weekly summary is cut off; if it's sent by email and they can scroll won't be an issue
4. this one is a bigger considerations: one of the big issues older adults have with this type of technology is that they feel that it's obtrusive so that is where it becomes a judgement call of how much data makes sense to share depending on the cognitive ability of the client, whether the family has health authority etc. I can see a situation where a client is upset about this level of data around toileting, fridge, time spent indoors being shared.
Would these get uploaded into wellsky too?

Hi Shadi,
Our first few lifeguard clients are up and running in Montreal. It took a little longer that we anticipated to get everything set up. That said, I'd like you to review the attached template of our Weekly Wellness Report. Once a client has had the system installed and a baseline is established, they will receive this report from their care manager.
Please let me know what you think and if you have any recommendations.
Thanks!

Hi Tim,
As we discussed, I’ve attached the latest weekly report for you and Dr. Shadi to review.
I’ve also attached the current escalation process for Montreal.
During today’s meeting, we discussed who would be responsible for calling 911 in the following scenarios. We need to determine what to do if we land on step 8.
Scenario 1: The occupant is alone during a fall
1. A fall is detected, and the occupant is alone.
2. Lifeguard Alert Center (LAC) is notified.
3. The LAC agent calls the first emergency contact – no answer.
4. The agent calls the second emergency contact – no answer.
5. The agent calls the third emergency contact – no answer.
6. The agent calls the client – no answer.
7. The agent retries all contacts and the client – no response.
Step 8 Options:
* Option 1: The LAC agent calls TheKey to take over the situation. TheKey decides if 911 should be dispatched.
* Option 2: The LAC agent calls TheKey and immediately dispatches 911 to the client’s residence.
________________________________
Scenario 2: Occupant is NOT alone during a fall
1. A fall is detected, and the occupant is not alone.
2. LAC is notified.
3. The LAC agent calls the client’s residence to check if all is well.
* Outcome 1: Someone answers, confirms all is well. The agent informs the primary contact and emails the Care Manager.
* Outcome 2: No one answers. The agent calls the first emergency contact to verify if the client is okay.
If no one responds, follow Scenario 1’s process: retry all contacts and the client, then notify TheKey to decide on 911 dispatch.
We will need to decide who will dispatch 911 for the fall scenario.
As a related note, automatic 911 dispatch is currently disabled for TheKey’s clients in cases where the emergency button is pressed or abnormal inactivity is detected. Instead of dispatching 911, a wellness check call is made to the client and/or emergency contacts, following the escalation process outlined in the attached document.
Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to hop on a call to further discuss.
