The CSM workload in Calgary has grown to the point where it=E2= =80=99s becoming unsustainable for one person to manage effectively. Currently, we have one (CSM) responsible for managing approximately 70 clients across a large geographic territory. This is significantly higher a= nd almost double what we see in other regions. Toronto averages around 40 clients per CSM, Vancouver averages 35 clients per CSM, Victoria averages 18 clients, Montreal averages 45 clients, and Winnipeg averages around 30 clients. In addition to the client load, Calgary=E2=80=99s geography adds a= nother layer of complexity. It=E2=80=99s a large city to cover, and travel time be= tween visits eats up a lot of the day. This could make it challenging to meet SLA visit expectations and provide clients with the time and attention they deserve. I firmly believe we=E2=80=99d see a significant impact by splitting the ter= ritory, with one CSM focusing on the north and one on the south. Not only would it reduce strain on the current role, but it would also allow us to deliver more consistent, proactive service and build stronger client relationships. In the long term, I view this as a move that supports both retention and growth. Let me know if you=E2=80=99d be open to discussing this further. I=E2=80=99= d be happy to outline what a transition plan might look like.
