Further to the below, please find attached a copy of your First Funding Notice of Acceptance Statement for the 2022/2023 renewals.  First will take the down payment within the next couple of days, if they have not done so already.  Please ensure sufficient funds are in the account to meet the payments to avoid NSF/Cancellation.

Attached is another copy of your Berkley Renewal which shows the Coronavirus Exclusion information relating to the Facility Staffing endorsement, which was missed.  There are no other changes.

Good Afternoon Everyone,

We are pleased to attach your 2022 renewal documents. We ask that you please review the attached documents carefully as they detail the specific coverage purchased. It is important that you keep these documents safe and maintain them for future reference.

The following documents are attached:


  1.  2022 Berkley Canada Healthcare Package Policy including the Facility Staffing endorsement. Facility Staffing is now specifically excluded from your coverage, this endorsement adds the coverage back in.
o    It should be noted that the Facility Staffing Liability endorsement is written on a Claims Made basis.
o    This means that only claims filed during the term of the policy will be covered.
o    To ensure coverage it is important to notify us immediately of any/all incidents that could potentially result in a claim.
o    Note, there is a Coronavirus exclusion relating to the Facility Staffing, which is explained in the attached wordings document.
·         2022 ARAG Legal Expense Policy and Notice of Change, which please read to familiarise yourself

  1.  2022 CFC/Lloyds Cyber Policy and Event Notification information -

  *   Please print your Cyber Insurance policy document and the Event Notification information - If you are a victim of a cyberattack you may not be able to access your computer files so it is important to have a printed copy available.
  *   Reduce the risk of a Cyber attack/breach by taking advantage of eLearning tools and online Resources offered by your insurer
·         Your First Funding Statement outlining your monthly withdrawals will follow shortly. Kindly ensure that there are sufficient funds in the account as any NSF is subject to NSF fess and/or cancellation.
·         Recommendations and Comments relevant to you - please review this document and contact our office if you wish to discuss any of the coverages outlined
·      Updated Certificates for your distribution -

     *   If you require any additional certificates please let me know
     *   Please include a copy of the contract when requesting certificates with an Additional Insured requirement
  1.  In an effort to operate within green processes, these policies and attachments are being sent via email. Please note these are legally binding documents and we are not intending to provide a hard copy unless you specifically request us to do so.

Policy wordings are separate documents and are available upon request.

Please note that the premium has increase from $2,100 to $3,700 and this is due to the number cyber crime claims in the market place.
CFC has still been the competitive provider in the market place.
