I am writing to address an urgent matter regarding the recent delay in
direct deposit payments impacting our U.S. employees due to the Chase Bank
outage.
Given the importance of timely payments and the potential hardship this
delay may cause, I am asking all regional leaders to closely monitor any
situations where employees are facing financial difficulties due to this
issue. It is crucial that we provide immediate and effective support to our
team during this time.
Please work directly with your General Manager to develop and implement
creative support strategies tailored to the specific needs of impacted
employees. This may include arranging alternative transportation options,
such as Ubers, for caregivers who are unable to drive to their scheduled
shifts, or providing other forms of assistance to alleviate immediate
financial stress such as sending groceries through Doordash.
RDOs - please connect with your General Managers to ensure they are aware
of our support during this time and are escalating issues as needed.
Your proactive engagement and leadership are essential in ensuring our
employees feel supported and valued during the payment disruption.
The HR Service Center will also be monitoring emails and calls that come in
over the weekend to ensure issues related to the payment delay are promptly
addressed.
