Please see my responses below. Also, do you foresee similar cash shortages as something that we'll run into regularly? Other than sending a larger amount of cash to delay future requests, is there any other way to push these institutional payers in making timely payments to avoid such situations? Would you happen to have Waterloo's estimated weekly/monthly payroll and outflow totals, as well as expected weekly/monthly inflows? - Cash shortages are not a common scenario we anticipate. It would be ideal to have a buffer to support any future payroll increases driven by growth. The institutions we work with have varying payment terms as per the current agreements. However, they are prompt in payments and often settle the invoices ahead of time. In this particular case, we had a significant boost to staff augmentation for our Waterloo operations driven by Covid-19 outbreaks. I'll send a follow-up email with the estimated weekly/monthly payroll and outflows and inflows. Treasury is okay with sending a larger amount today(80K CAD) for support, but hoping we can touch base on the above items so that we may further understand Oakville and Waterloo operations, address what might be driving this funding need, and also discuss when we might be able to organize possible excess cash return/s back to our corporate account. - For the Waterloo operations, we have a large client base that is facilities. With staff augmentation, there are periods of high demand followed by a dip in staffing requests. In the last two weeks, we have seen multiple clients going into covid-19 outbreaks and needing extensive staff augmentation. In addition, there is an increase in billing and payroll rate for staffing at an Outbreak location. I have attached the pre-authorized debit form for the Waterloo location. Let me know if you have any questions.
