The client, Margie, was resistant to care so our services were cancelled. The client's son, who signed the agreement as the responsible party, has contacted our CSM stating he would like a refund for monies not used. Before I call him, I want to get your input. They spent $1800 on services so he would like a refund of $3200. To prevent any backlash do you recommend we authorize the refund? Or do you think it better I remind him of the agreement he signed and let him know we would be happy to provide caregiver(s) for his mother and father to use up the balance.
