To all Canada employees: We have implemented two additional deductions codes on your paycheck stub that will reflect the Provincial Sales Tax (PST) in each province in Canada. Previously, the PST was combined into the deduction amounts, but now the amounts need to be separated for employee and employer. One line will read as PST (58R) for Life Ins, Dep Life, AD & D) and the other PST (M&D) (59R) for Medical & Dental. You will see this update on your first paycheck in June 2024.
