Client Narrative: Barry recently was in the hospital due to Barry recently
was in the hospital due to a broken hip. HeHe has been in rehab at firstHe
has been in rehab at FIRST COMMUNITY Village and is coming home. He has a
very involved family and is nervous about coming home. His wife is Gayle
and she is a very stern and independent woman who is not wanting care in
the home. Barry is very weak, needs hands on assistance with bathing,
toileting and is dependent on assistance for meal prep and eating
assistance. Caregivers should stay by his side and ensure he is safe and
steady. At night he needs a CG by his side so he does not get up and go to
the bathroom on his own.
There are 2 small shitzu dogs in the home that are allergen free but do
bark and lick.
