I was fortunate enough to join the training this week. My experience using iCIMS was minimal, so I was learning right along with Jon's team. Allow me to share a few of my big takeaways after this week of training: 1. Jon laid out a clear, supportive sequence of sessions to ease all users into the new system. 2. Jon set up a series of open sessions this week and next week where the learners could come in with questions/issues to find support. 3. The training sessions were open to any of his team members to join if they wanted a refresher. We did have a few join us for the last session. This was a *wonderful idea*. 4. There is now a set of recorded training for any new iCIMS user to access. 5. Jon reflected thoughtfully on the work he presented. Realizing there were a few points that the learners might need to review quickly, Jon recorded short videos (aka micro-learning) to share with the team for additional reference. 6. Throughout the sessions, Jon was mindful of the time, kept the information clear, engaged the learners in a variety of ways, and remained positive and encouraging with all of the participants. The team has been given a strong foundation for using iCIMS, and I look forward to seeing how things go once the system is live.
