The reason for this would be the $25 deduction from the background check. However, I double checked her signed contract (same as all employees), but there does *not *seem to be a section explaining the $25 back check fee. It used to be on the old contract. In the current one (section 2), it states that employees will have to undergo a criminal background check, but omits the expense from their pay. Is it written in another document, or is this the only mention? Attached is the current offer letter we send out. Please let me know for future reference.
