Hello Sandra, I visited you Mom today.=20 As well, I have spoken to our caregivers and it seems that your Mom's pain is improving but varies lately.=20 Last night, Jummy told me that your Mom had a good pain free night except for some aching joints that did not affect her walking with her walker and=20= assistance. Catherine, who has been with her on days told me that her pain i= s=20 alot less lately, except for complaints of lower back pain on and off, which= again doesnt prevent her from ambulating in her apartment with her walker and assi= stance.=20 The caregivers are all aware to call the nurses at Westmount One if she is i= n pain, and cannot mobilize or cannot sleep.=20 My concern is that we cannot get her to leave her room to walk in the hallwa= y,or to go downstairs. I offered to go with her to the living room on the ma= in floor to have tea with her, and she refused. I tried to convince her and she became upset with me.=20= The caregivers have been trying as well, however she becomes more aggressiv= e.=20 I know our goal is to try and get her back to her routine, but she is resist= ing , but we will keep suggesting to her.=20 She is eating and drinking well, and having regular bowel movements.=20 Shes so pleasant and nice to talk to.=20 She is improving.=20 We will scan and forward you all the care notes.=20 Call me anytime.=20 Have a great day, Maria Licoudis, Registered Nurse, C.N.C.C, N.M.C Care Manager Home Care Assistance mlicoudis@homecareassistance.com www.homecareassitancemontreal.ca Office: 514-907-5065=
