I arrived to the home and the potential client wanted me to call. So this is a single family home ans Kevin lives in the basement. In order to get to Kevin you walk down the drive way go through the back yard and then walk down the basement steps. Kevin is a smoker so it is cigarette ends out side the door and when you enter the basement .When you walk in it is the laundry room with Things everywhere he stated those items belong to homeowners upstairs so the caregivers would have to be careful when washing and drying since it is clothes and other items on top of the washer and dryer. From the laundry room you can go to the bathroom it is an add on from the closet from Kevin room. The bathroom had hair everywhere I guess Kevin had cut his own hair and the bathroom was not clean at all. Then you have to walk around through the basement which is the storage area for the homeowners and then Kevin has a small kitchenette area. There was trash covering the entire area but he stated it is a sink underneath the trash for the caregivers to do dishes. I physically could not see the sink. The his bedroom was covered with soda and beer cans, cigarette ends and ashes. Along with trash and clothes everywhere. There was not a specific area for the caregivers to actually sit. Kevin then stated he did not know how long he would need our services because he was moving into a senior community that is handicap accessible. I asked him if a caregiver was to come and clean everything what would the caregivers do. He stated it would be much but when they are finished they can just play in their phones. I told him we have a no cell phone policy. I honestly think once a caregiver would have came out and got the basement back in order and livable he would have canceled service. He stated that a nurse already comes out so I was confused as too why and aid was not coming out under his VA benefit. I think because of the living quarters On Thu, Jul 24, 2025 at 10:12=E2=80=AFAM Aretha Ilion wrote: > You're welcome! > > *Warmest Regards,* > > > *Aretha Ilion* > *TheKey Homecare * > *Lead Homecare Advisor* > *aretha.ilion@thekey.com* > *Office Number - 414-207-6848* > *Cell Number - 414-208-5430* > > > On Thu, Jul 24, 2025 at 10:07=E2=80=AFAM Timothy Thomas w= rote: > >> Thank you Aretha. >> >> @Karla Hodge depending on the state of the home we >> may need to insist he get it professionally cleaned before we begin >> service.
