This part the caregiver is adamant about. Why would a 20k coat tucked away in some closet be the object of her laundry?? She said it was with the laundry and washed it but hung it to dry which is how the family found it. The caregiver said she had done laundry there as asked when it was there and never ever took anything outside the bin. I totally believe this. It=E2=80=99s honestly up to you as a company how you wish to proceed but th= is is exactly how families have taken advantage of us in the past. Happy to take it to insurance but we need some sort of proof. 2017 also doesn=E2=80=99t line up with the story they told me that her grandmother bo= ught this coat forever ago and never wears it. Who buys a 20k coat and doesn=E2=80=99t keep the receipt for insurance purp= oses even for fire or theft??? That=E2=80=99s more than most appliances and furn= iture which everyone keeps. I don=E2=80=99t buy this story. Ultimately though, your decision on how you want to handle it. They are currently refusing to pay their last 10k bill as I understand. We were only only on service for two weeks. And there is a clause in our agreement about limited liability. Let me know your thoughts. But I would demand proof of receipt. This coat could have been bought for 500 bucks on consignment. I can=E2=80=99t find = it any where on the company website based on the photo.
