Hi Timothy, I have included our last correspondence, hoping that it will help to bring to mind our past use of your services. My mother, Rose Alper, has been living at Westmount One for two years. She is now 96 years old and still in relatively good health. Her short term memory is failing, with resulting confusion. As well, her energy level is diminishing. While Westmount One provides caregivers who help with showers and dressing every second day, the system we recently put in place to have their caregivers come on the other days to help with washing and dressing is not working well because their time of arrival is not reliable and Rose is finding that exceedingly frustrating. I am wondering if it would be possible for you to make available someone who would come every second morning at 9am to help Rose wash and dress. It is possible--even likely--that there would be other tasks that would be included over time, but for the moment an hour a day would be more than sufficient. I do recall that you have a minimum number of hours per week. Please remind me what that minimum is and, as well, your hourly rate. Thank you. She's already asked us to find her work elsewhere beginning next week. We have other fantastic caregivers who I'm sure Rose would get along with should she ever need a companion. Keep us posted. Best regards, Timothy. On Thu, May 28, 2015 at 5:37 PM, Laura Alper < lalper@sympatico.ca > wrote: Hi Timothy, I just spoke with Rose. What she told me is that (1) her needs are less, and (2) she is getting increasingly involved in activities at Westmount One and it will be difficult to have a predictable schedule. Ideally, she would like to be able to call on Mahsa for an afternoon once in a while, but not on a regular basis. Please let me know if that would be an acceptable arrangement. Thank you. Rose told Mahsa that tomorrow would the last day of service, and that she wouldn't need her anymore. I just wanted to confirm this with you to be sure we're all on the same page. Please let me know. Thanks! -- <strong st
