We both thought she was an excellent candidate, and certainly the best one we have interviewed for this position since 2017. I think that her previous experience as a Case Coordinator for our public health care system could give her an "in" for us to receive referrals from the government's "Self and Family Managed Care" program. I believe this program is our biggest and best opportunity for referrals (many of these clients receive up to 55 hours per week of subsidy for private home care at a rate of $21.40/hour, which makes our services affordable to a broader group). Additionally, her active nursing license and comfort and familiarity with the hospital system and discharge planning would make her a great asset. She is very friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic and personable. She also has been through the process of caring for a loved one with dementia and in dealing personally with the government home care program, and understanding the weakness of that structure and the benefit of our private structure. She had done some homework on our local business, as well as Dennis and I personally, and seemed prepared. I would be happy to move forward with her as a candidate. Please let me know what the next steps would be for Cindy. Thank you all for your work on this!
