Wifi calling helped because the frequency of calling dropping is MUCH less. Yesterday, I uninstalled 8x8 on my cell, restarted it, and reinstalled 8x8, and it seems to be working fine now. (Will let you know if this changes over the next few days). When I use 8x8 via laptop, there's no connectivity issues. At home, I always use an Ethernet Internet connection because Mavencare's voip system (Bria) did not work without that type of connection; similarly, calls would drop or the caller wouldn't hear me, etc. when we would use a wireless connection. When I worked from the office, I was originally using the Ethernet internet connection, and it was Ryan who advised me to switch to wireless wifi when I first mentioned these issues. Then TheKey got their own wifi, and the issue seemed to resolve itself. I'm off next week, but will report back when I return after trying the Ethernet internet connection in the office. Hope this helps, Taneshia On Tue, Jul 26, 2022 at 6:26 PM Isabelle La wrote: > Hi Taneshia, > > I just spoke with Ryan Alexander from the Mavencare IT Team since we are > piggy-backing off their Internet plan and our IT doesn't have direct > access/control and he said that the best way to assure the best speeds is > to plug directly in to the Ethernet jacks with your device for a wired > connection instead of running off the WiFi.
