But, to answer your question, yes, Google uses Audience signals for its targeting and in most of its demographic data-related reporting, it applies some sampling and only gives us an overall picture of data and often misses the particular details; thus, you are missing some of the data. Overall location based data tends to be a little misleading because of how google likes o assign location to a user vs their actual location. So I agree with not relying 100%on that for strategy purposes. I am totally on board with putting it on pause for now. For Mississauga for example, I only see $7,667 spend accounted for but I see $8,606 of spend in TheKey.ca account and about $4k in spend in the old Mississauga account. Is this because not all the spend is tied to postal codes and some of it is tied to towns? I also see that what I have in my Tableau report as far as leads matching to postal codes does not match what's showing up from Google for Mississauga. This could be an error on the reporting side due to how the data is pulled, so I'll look into that. I have a meeting with my reporting team on Monday and will bring it up with them then. Overall, we may put postal code review on pause in favor of focusing on keywords instead while I figure out why the data isn't matching. --=20 Patrick Zehnder In Front Marketing Results Driven Performance Marketing *patrick@infrontmarketing.ca * Suite 401 =E2=80=93 255 17 Ave SW, Calgary, AB --0000000000008b80b60616f24635 Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Hey Alexa, Apologies for starting a new thread; we are updating our internal ema= il services=C2=A0and that is still under maintenance.
