Good Morning

 

Who should be our new administrator so we can update everyone’s access to read only? Laws in Montreal state we have to retain records for 6 years, which would indicate we either need to maintain the cost of this for that period of time. Otherwise, we could find someone with the knowledge to download everything we have in here going that far back and retire the use of the system entirely.

We only have one user account on the quickbooks desktop instance. It appears you can change the access to read only however you would likely need to create a new admin account.

With closing the books and activity in Quickbooks COB Friday, May 10th, we were discussing the possibility of ensuring that team members are no longer adjusting/creating invoices, payments, credits, etc. in the system. Would it be possible to update the team's access to read/download only?
