Tim, 

Can we request the LO staff to sign off each week that clients have authorizations attached? This process is very manual and non-standard, really hoping everyone can own 100% of their piece vs billing having to own the billing process and also, monitor scheduling shifts/attaching auths.

Hi Tim,

 

The summary and invoices were resent to the Region of Waterloo. 

We identified some errors in how some of the clients were billed. This caused some of the clients to be excluded in the original summary. The summary and invoices were updated to include the clients originally excluded.

Errors and action items:

*         Clients’ shifts without authorizations attached

o   Billing will partner with local office to ensure the authorizations are included going forward

*         Due to a technical issue, Canada was not on the authorization audit

o   Working with IT to correct the oversight
