Here is a little background on him and some career highlights. Although Joey joined us originally in a recruitment role, I quickly noticed his interest in management and growth. He was promoted to HR Manager and put in charge of our augmented staffing department. At the onset of the pandemic he was able to implement a plan and scale our operations in order to take on a government contract. His team onboarded over 50 new caregivers in a 6 week period that allowed us to nearly double our revenue from February to June 2020. He's extremely dedicated and hard working. I'm confident that with some training and guidance from me he will continue to grow the Montreal office. *Roles and Responsibilities:* - Manages HR & Augmented Staffing Department - Reviews billing and payroll. - Manages a team of 4 employees (1 recruiter, 1 hr coordinators, 1 staffing coordinator and an intern) - Assists care managers and coordinators with scheduling and staffing - Runs weekly meetings with team, monthly check ins and annual performance reviews with direct reports - Maintains relationships with referral sources in the augmented staffing dept. - Organizes and runs caregiver orientations *Accomplishments since joining Home Care in July 2019:* - Grown the augmented staffing business from 669k in 2019, to 4.1m in 2020 to a current run rate of 100k per week in 2022. - Developed and managed a contract with the government in March of 2020 that is still actively being used today - Implemented and managed a division of the company that hired Licensed Practical Nurses and Registered Nurses for placement in facilities - Adapted HR practices from in office to completely virtual including application forms, application contracts, interviews, and orientations - Got promoted from an HR coordinator to an HR manager in 1 year - Hired
