Mum was = fine, but Marlyn was calling because she needed to check with me about = giving Mum her antibiotics with a full meal (not necessary), and also = see if it was ok if my Mum had a light supper. It was a bit of an odd = conversation (not at all =E2=80=9Ca situation=E2=80=9D) and I spoke to = my Mum for a while on the same call, who was in great form - she went to = group Tai Chi, talked to friends, and then went to the screening of the = opera! It was a great day for Mum, so very unfortunate that it ended = with Marlyn=E2=80=99s unprofessional hystrionics.=20 >=20 > At 10:04PM, Marlyn called me sobbing. I could see on the camera that = my Mum had not fallen, but my heart lurched into my throat nonetheless = as she could be having a seizure or something else. After a few minutes = of loud sobs, I learned that Marlyn was inconsolably crying because my = Mum called her a =E2=80=9Cdummy=E2=80=9D and to =E2=80=9Cjust get out of = here=E2=80=9D. I reminded Marlyn that I had just told her that it was ok = to take them with a little milk or yogurt. I told her to breathe deeply, = and calm down so she could make her bus. The curtains were left open in = my Mum=E2=80=99s bedroom and I was concerned for her care, and also = Marlyn=E2=80=99s well-being. Marlyn did a bit of sobbing in the bedroom = in front of the camera as she threw the curtains closed in front of my = Mum (who was in bed) as I did my best to calm her down and get her out = of there so she could make her bus. Of course, the second Marlyn left I = immediately had a call from Mum who was also quite upset and made to = feel like she is very difficult. Mum told me she obviously didn=E2=80=99t = want the sandwich, which she knew was unnecessary, unappetizing and hard = to swa
