FW: Retention Rate

It seems wrong to look at a specific date since many client = don’t have service that day. How do we establish a benchmark = starting point? Do we look at an entire month. My son contacted = Russell and his reply is below which is no less clear. I get the = impression that everyone maybe using a different method.   In the interest of clarity and consistency (and my sanity), could you = tell me what I should be doing. I want to track this monthly and = I’m having a tough time figuring it out.   Thanks. I export the caregivers worked in both months and filter out names that = do not match to get the 'retained" number.   Divide the retained number from the December total to get the = percentage.
