I do appreciate it. Unfortunately, this particular employee is a family member. We have had some issues in the past year with privacy, confidentiality and gossip. All office employees were provided new policies see attached. Shereen had also signed new employment agreements and new policies. We had one situation, where she sent a text message to a family member not part of the company about company business. After a long and careful consideration I had decided to terminate this employee with a 4 week severance pay, ROE and opportunity to be referred to another senior care facility. I do apologize that this matter was takens to Corporate - I imagine she is upset at my decision - however, it's best for the company based on rumors, confidentiality and sharing company business to non-employees. We have paid this employee four week severance pay as per labour standards to terminate this relationship, plus as mentioned assisted with recommendation for future position opportunity at Christenson Communities.
