Starting at minimum hours, but the client is newly diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Lots of room to grow there. Katie has two more assessments scheduled for February. One for daily 8's and one for 16 hours weekly. The 16 hour case is another Alzheimer's client and from her financial advisor channel. I'm confident we will be able to grow there, as well, if we can close. We are, also, sitting on a close/won never started. He is scheduled to be discharged on 2/4. I have been asking Katie to set up a warm introduction with Sarah so we can do a reassessment and staff the case. Still working on that one. Katie has shared that their intention is for 12hrs daily, but she has been the only one able to contact the family successfully. It is imperative to get the warm hand off to avoid a service failure in his care. This is the only case I'm a little uneasy about. We have a couple's care case outside of our coverage area that Katie was trying to sell as a live-in (one of her referral partners gave her the lead). At the assessment they shared they only wanted an 8hr shift Monday-Friday. They live about 1hr 20min away (one way). I don't have any caregivers willing to accept the shift and I can't be competitive on the price due to the location. I am also concerned that even if I find someone to take the shift for now...I won't be able to fill a call off or replace the CG if necessary. What are your thoughts?
