Had a follow-up call with Odelia from North Lodge this afternoon. She thought Allison was "lovely!" We didn't repeat the details of their discussions & you have Allison's notes. Odelia was very understanding of the perceptions that our staff could have had about the assignments. She did report to her leadership that HCA was doing an investigation and she is reporting back to them tomorrow. I offered to attend, but she didn't feel that was necessary because it was resolved. Reviewed that we would still like to host a lunch for their leadership team, she will let me know a date. They are now caught up on Christmas Stat holidays, and vacations days for their staff so we will see fewer shift requests at the moment. Furthered the discussion on safe food handling certification. I offered that we are open to a discussion if there would be a benefit for our staff who work regularly to be trained. (6 hours online course $30) For now, they have enough of their staff trained and only 40% on shift need to be certified, a certified person just needs to be in the building as a resource. Unless there are any questions this situation is resolved.
