Tender-hearted people tend to focus their interests and energ= ies on the people around them. Typically they exert a calming influence on = the people around them and, thus, are seen as easy to work with. At the other end of the scale are tough-minded individuals who tend to be s= omewhat cynical and lacking in empathy. In general, they are more concerned= about ideas and projects and less concerned about relationships with peopl= e. As a result, they can be somewhat thoughtless when it comes to other peo= ple. In addition to this overall indifferent interpersonal quality, these t= ough minded people are often noted for being risk takers and/or thrill seek= ers.
