The letter will meet legal requirements but I imagine you and or the GMs may want to add a personal touch. It'll be fine for you/GMs to add language to the letter as long as the verbiage Legal provides remains. We'll get a draft to Sharon per your instructions, hopefully by the end of day Monday. Does Canada have something equivalent to U.S. certified mail, where there is proof that the recipient received the mail? Legal sends important communications via certified mail and has used the receipt as evidence in litigation. If you have that ability, I strongly suggest the term notices are sent via that method and the receipts are saved in your records, along with a copy to Legal. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions, glad to discuss.
