This is regarding leasing a space at the Amber Meadows and looking at the potential business opportunities. Below is an email from Cindy Skulsky (former HCL) regarding this opportunity. I was wondering if anyone from your team can attend this meeting? This will be part of the SLC partnership project that we had started off in Winnipeg in Q4 2022. Saviour Home Care is the one who was leasing the space and they have been let go and HCA/The Key has been given this opportunity. Best regards, Matt Matt Vijayan, B.Sc., MBA, CCPE Director of Sales, Canada *Please note my email has changed:* mvijayan@TheKey.com TheKey.com [image: TheKey] ---------- Forwarded message --------- From: Cindy Skulsky Date: Fri, Nov 4, 2022 at 7:49 AM Subject: Amber Meadow opportunity To: Matt Vijayan Good morning Matt, I had a really good meeting with Brenda (Sales & Marketing) and Jeff (General Manager) yesterday at Amber Meadow (Independent Living). They currently have an in-house private homecare company called Savior that signed a lease agreement with them about 3 months ago to provide services to their residents. It is a new company that they feel have spread themselves too thin. They are not satisfied with Savior as they say there is seldom anyone from the company in the leased space and when Brenda does tours the "Savior leased space" is usually locked and dark. They are wanting the "leased space" open at least a couple of hours/day and mentioned the hours of 11am-2pm, 7 days per week for example. They are really wanting someone on-site to do the following: -escorts to meals for residents who need it -assistance for residents who need it for ADLs -transportation to appointments and outings for residents needing it -1:1 companionship -they were also asking if we had a Foot Nurse on our Team or partner with a particular one that would be able to provide service to their residents instead of residents/families hiring their own. -they are looking for someone who can do Blood Pressures and weights -they are looking for someone who can provide "healthy living activities" in the afternoons. I have already done a BP Clinic with a nurse and will be taking Angela Gentile in Dec for her "Flourish or Fade" presentation. -assist with laundry as community does not have staff to assist with this. I have discussed Home Care Assistance services and have given our brochures and partnership white paper. I also discussed considering HCA for any residents now that need assistance as a "pilot" to try out our services if Savior is not meeting their needs. I spoke with Brian Boxall yesterday and he said Winnipeg is still short staffed so we would have to work with recruiting on this. If we were able to solidify a "lease partnership" and provide staff to this community and they were happy
