Good morning Cathy and Jim, I visited Harry this morning. I manage to speak to Dr. Olivier, he said that= the scan did not show any infection in the bone. I managed to get a copy of= his blood tests which I have forwarded to you. I also spoke to Dr. Olivier a= bout his sodium, as it is low again. They doubled dosed his sodium pills yes= terday, and it made him a little nauseous, but he was fine this morning and a= te well at breakfast. His fluid restriction will be 1.5 L per 24 hrs. Nelly w= ill make a big note, and leave it in his room at the kensington, and we wi= ll also send them all out a notice. I also stressed to Dr. Olivier that Harry be seen today by geriatrics, to as= sess for possible dementia, as we do not want to take him out next week for t= hat appointment. He told me that he would contact them this morning. I asked about Harry's urinalysis results and his leg wound cultures, the uri= ne culture is negative, and the wound culture came back negative. He's not g= rowing anything. Good news. Dr Olivier will probably discharge him back to the kensington at some point t= oday, Nelly will let us know. Take care, talk soon, Maria Maria Licoudis, Registered Nurse, C.N.C.C, N.M.C Care Manager Home Care Assistance mlicoudis@homecareassistance.com www.homecareassitancemontreal.ca Office: 514-907-5065=
