I wanted to share the reference check process we use in the Northeast. Please let me know if this approach will work for your team in Kansas City: - *Background Report Review:* Our CG Onboarding Specialists review each candidate's background report. - *Completed Reference Checks: *If the report shows that all reference contacts have been successfully reached and information provided, our current process remains unchanged, and the Onboarding Specialist moves t= he candidate forward. - *Incomplete Reference Checks:* If the reference checks are incomplete (i.e., not all contacts have been reached), the Onboarding Specialist wi= ll not move the candidate forward until all contacts have been successfully reached. They will document each attempt using this Reference Check Form and will only advance the candidate once the reference checks are comple= ted. I would like to recognize that this may introduce delays in moving candidates through the hiring process. However, we understand that completing these reference checks is a necessary pre-hire requirement to meet state regulations. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to explore a different process.
