Caroline Vanover — Malin Maleegrai to Home Care Assistance Only

Assessment for fast start completed at 1pm.  Caroline "Carol" is bedbound in hospital bed and requires total care.  Son John present for assessment.  Carol recently returned home from Citadel Wilmette with home care from another agency (24/7). The caregiver left today and the agency has not been returning son's call.  Carol in need to be repositioned, given bed bath, incontinence brief changed, and clothes changed ASAP,  She appeared hungry during visit and kept asking for chocolate.  Carol is eating very little and will benefit from being fed. She was able to pick up M&M's and eat them herself.  Son will organize medications and caregivers will remind and hand medications to Carol.
I was in communication with Michelle during my visit.  She staffed a caregiver right away given Carol's need for care ASAP - caregiver currently on site.
CCA sent, will activate in Wellsky.
CareScout level 3 client - rate $45.
Schedule 24/7 currently.
Will visit again tomorrow for more thorough assessment.
