Miranda on their new and exciting roles.

From the desk of Michelle Schefter: I am delighted to announce the
introduction of new leadership within our VA Finance operations. Jeannie
Ortiz <https://thekey.workplace.com/profile.php?id0077400491293>,
appointed Manager of Finance Start of Care, has taken on the responsibility
of overseeing veterans' start-of-care processes. Miranda Norman
<https://thekey.workplace.com/profile.php?ida557840605173>, in turn,
assumes oversight of VA Credentialing as well as Claims, and Submissions.
These leaders report directly to Elizabeth Clark and Michelle Schefter.
In 2024, our strategic vision has been to optimize operations across all
finance-related veteran services, specifically focusing on:
• Start Of Care-HRSM Authorizations:
HRSM facilitates the VA's finalization of authorizations and referrals.
• Credentialing Tracker:
We are committed to maintaining transparency, organization, and timeliness
in credentialing, accompanied by proactive communication efforts.
• Claims and Submissions:
Our goal is the prompt and accurate submission of all VA claims, enhancing
service efficiency.
• Monitored mailbox:
Vabilling@thekey.com to help with any of your VA questions or concerns
These initiatives have significantly enhanced transparency and operational
efficiency across all levels.
Since March of this year, we have successfully completed credentialing for
new locations in California, including:
• Santa Barbara
• Central Los Angeles
• San Diego/La Jolla
In addition, we currently have 22 locations awaiting VA approval: (New VA
credentials at times can take up to 365 days)
• Optum: 17 locations
• TriWest: 5 locations
If a client is interested in TheKey's services in a non credentialed area,
we would welcome them to advise the VA that TheKey is their preferred
vendor in turn speeding up the credentialing process on our end to assist
in timely financial support for our Veteran clients.
Our dedication to delivering exceptional updates and service remains top
priority, and we eagerly anticipate a successful year ahead.
