Edith has four hours a week for housekeeping. She had originally come to us about caring for her daughter for those hours so she could have that time to herself however there is no care for her daughter at all. This is strictly a housekeeping case which no PSW wants. We have suggested she look at a housekeeping company whom we work with in the community but she wants someone who can also "babysit her daughter." We do have someone who has been consistent on the case but Edith is unhappy with the depth of cleaning she is willing to do. Short of hiring someone specifically for this role, we expect there will continue to be turnover on her case in part because of the very part time nature of the client and in part due to the lack of caregiving.
