Sorry I didn't copy you in on my replies. I'll be sure to do that for all Canadian collection issues in the future. Gerard sent a demand to this person and it was 'signed' by Kim. Then the local office received a letter from an attorney on behalf of Lisa Stein, Bunny's daughter, alleging that the company was "double billing," there was no balance due, and if we continued billing for past due amounts he would lodge a complaint. Collections and I met with the attorney a few times and sent documentation and explanations showing that the balance was indeed outstanding. After providing clear evidence that the balance was owed, I received an email from the attorney stating that they no longer represent Ms. Stein on this matter. @Rachel Anderson-Capone , @Kimberly Guerc= i can you please advise if this account is still past due and, if so, by how much? I assume so. The last balance I have is $43,171.21. Helen St. Pierre - another Canada collection matter - Tim, we can also ask our Canadian attorneys if they would pursue Helen St. Pierre even though we don't have a signed contact. I know you were disappointed when the collections firm I spoke with declined to take the case. Balance $72,000. In the last communication we offered a 25% discount and she didn't reply. Lisa Stein informed the office in May that Ms. St. Pierre has passed and that there was no outstanding balance. Tim, Liz, let me know what you think. *Sincerely,* *Tammi Franzese* Senior Corporate Paralegal | *TheKey*813.521.5269 [image: TheKey] On Tue, Jul 9, 2024 at 3:51=E2=80=AFPM Timothy Thomas wrote= : > This is the first I'm seeing a balance due for Bunny Stein.
