Hi Steve,

My name is Chuck, and I am the Regional Ambassador for Canada. Tim has
suggested that I contact you for some guidance. When we hire new employees,
they are required to attend orientation. We currently hold orientation
virtually in all the Canadian markets, and the payment of orientation has
been hit and miss in each market.

We are looking to standardize the payment of orientation - we would
appreciate your guidance as each province has different payroll
requirements for attending orientation.

Currently, some offices don't pay for orientation, but some pay (3 hours)
after the caregiver works their first shift. What is theKeys policy for
paying for orientations? Are there provincial regulations about attending a
virtual orientation?

We need this to be a set policy in Canada for all offices, and currently,
it's a grey area.

Let me know your thoughts or if you would like a more in-depth conversation
over the phone/google meets with Tim and me.

Kind Regards,
Chuck
