She broke her shoulder with the fall.. The doctor's did not recommend surgery but do expect her shoulder to heal with PT overtime. She was very frail before the incident, so she ended up in the hospital from Sunday August 4 through Thursday August 9. Twenty- four hour care was put in place as she is too weak to care for herself. Prior to the accident she had a caregiver 6 hours during the day and a 12 hour overnight shift. We still have 24 hour care in place but are only billing for 18 hours per day. She was released home with scheduled Physical Therapy. Client has not received any bills from her hospital stay as of now, his concern is that his aunt's insurance will be billed. Current in-home care added due to the accident is In Home nurse twice a week and Physical Therapy once a week. She said she is too weak and too sore to keep doctor's appointments, We are trying to have her order a medi-car. What is appropriate communication for me with her POA? Thanks, Diane On Tue, Aug 20, 2024 at 5:56 PM Steve Koyanagi wrote= : > No they wouldn't be able to bill our insurance directly. > > Do we have an idea as to how bad of shape our client is as a result of > this incident? > > On Tue, Aug 20, 2024 at 9:49=E2=80=AFAM Diane Mockenhaupt > wrote: > >> Hello, >> >> No, they have not provided any medical costs yet.
